How algorithms cheat...
Algorithms are basically equations that accept variables from an input source. The algorithm in this example is programmed to distribute votes based on a desire percentage of win for Candidate # 1. If the percentage of win is above 50%, Candidate #1 wins regardless of the actual vote count. In fact, the voter's intent is irrelevant. Only the total number of ballots and the win percentage are needed to cheat.

No need to actually count votes, just count ballots.
The machines will distribute votes using the algorithm.
This demonstration illistrates how a very simple algorithm can manipulate the outcome with only 2 input parameters. Real voting fraud is much more complex involving many more factors. Mail-in ballots, ballot harvesting, corrupted voter rolls, lack of identity verification, inadequate chain of custody, corrupt election officials and so much more all guarntee destruction of election integrity.
